Which file encryption(portal software) is best

I want to upload files after enrypt them (not winrar or winzip encryption)
I mean file encryption (like file encryption 2.1), but its slow
picocrypt 0.1.1 is fast but it gives error for big gb files
(% goes to over 100).

most softwares does not accept more than 2 gb file sizes ????
