    Default Galaxy S2......very funny problem

    Im using galaxy s2 from 11 months...had no problem.... but now when i open google map, the volume automatically goes up and keeps on making tick tick sound....

    when I go to google map ... only is the problem.... so when I do volume down the volume bar disappears..


    wat to do ?

    This is really weird. Try deleting the app+DATA,rebooting and reinstalling.
    Though I doubt that it will fixed by this but this is just a basic protocol. Also, are you on a custom ROM or anything? Experienced any other issues?
    Do post the same on xda.

    I formatted thrice.... upgraded from ginger to ICS... still the problem is same

    Formatted?
    Delete MAPS data. Then Uninstall MAPS.
    Use FileManager, Search & Delete any folders related to Google MAPS.
    Reboot your Phone & Finally install Maps Again.

    you cant remove google map from android.....

    Duh you can remove it in a custom ROM And as you didn't tell that you used the Official or Custom ROM. I assumed you're using a custom rom.

    Just delete all the Data related to Maps
    You need to reset the settings to default.

    You can all is possible if you have a rooted Phone

    However for Removing this you dont need to Root your Phone iam 100% sure about this.
