VPS for pic storage

hi guys, a old member needs some help from you

as i'm tired of all the unreliable hosts etc and the speeds suck, i want create my personal image host. ONLY for me where I can store my pics and they'll be save. the only problem is, i dont know any good hosts who accept that.

can i use a ovh kimsufi 2g server for example for this?

Yes you can use the OVH servers. That would be the safest way to store your images.

Pretty much any VPS provider should allow this, you shouldn't even require a dedicated server.

How many images do you plan on hosting OR how much space do you plan to use?

I would suggest looking at Drives configured in RAID for better performance or using SSD (Although much more expensive!)


Also do you have any specific geographical location you'd prefer?

Have you considered using Dropbox? As far as 'safe' goes, no one is safer in terms of reliability than them.

Alternatively, yeah, go with Kimsufi. More than adequate and they shouldn't have a problem as long as you stay within their bandwidth limits.
