Default What would it take to start my own paypal e-commerce website

    I want to start a paypal-like business.

Transactions over the internet can be done though me.

What kind of infrastructure would I need to do this?

I'm serious, with the way paypal keeps screwing off people there is a lot of money to be made by filling the vaccum they are leaving.

I just don't see why Payza and webmoney are sooooo difficult to work with. Honestly, how can it be so hard.

With the market the way it is they could probably charge a 5% transaction fee and we would gladly take it

Why would I go with your 5% when Paypal gives me under 3%? This is a serious question. Convince me how your service will be better.

You would need a legal team first off. zYou would have to work with credit card companies to be able to process their cards. It is a bigger hassle then you know of.

You will need to be a legal business with a ton of money backing you incase there is a security hole and you get tons of fraud.

Honestly if you even need to ask i dont think you should bother with it, im not sure anyone is going to use a brand new payment processor, especially one created by a newish member here. And as for paypal i have never been "screwed" by them at all, i just dont use crappy PPD filelockers.

Posting the never ending sentence is not going to get you any consideration either.

This is the internet, the first thing most people think when someone requests they be trusted is to not trust that person.

Stop trying so hard. Make a couple dozen useful posts that are not self serving and you will begin to become accepted.

Trust and respect is earned by not only your prior reputation but also by your current actions, posts, and how you present them.

You also might want to try forming your posts so they are easier to read. This is a diverse forum with users from around the globe and English is not everyone's primary language here although it is required by the rules to be the language used.

I'd like to a see a paypal alternative made but somethign that uses bitcoin as the fiat type of backing currency and is all setup similar to paypal with merchant apis etc and payment gateways

that way its easy to send money(bitcoin) to they're registered email and it would need to ahve good security limit logins to specific ips or tokenized devices like yubikeys and similiar, lots of 2 factor authentication options and ofc no restrictions by countries

Was hoping kim dotcom made something similar but called MegaPay would be perfect
