which is the best for raring files and splitting them

7-zip

winrar

i notice that most of uploaders use winrar, but some times downloaders face problems with extracting files and need to redownload the file again
so. i intend to use 7-zip and i find it's simply while extracting and never face any problems
what is ur opinions

Winrar has a better feel to it. 7-zip is actually probably better though.

I use WinRAR for extraction only the rest of the time I prefer 7Zip.

WinRAR for opening files like java or disc images that need editing.

ExtractNow for regular archives.
