winrar

i notice that most of uploaders use winrar, but some times downloaders face problems with extracting files and need to redownload the file again
so. i intend to use 7-zip and i find it's simply while extracting and never face any problems
what is ur opinions

Winrar has a better feel to it. 7-zip is actually probably better though.

WinRAR for opening files like java or disc images that need editing.

ExtractNow for regular archives.

I've been using it for well over a decade, though I appreciate 7z is a quality bit of software, I like the familiarity of winrar.

but i tend to suggest 7zip, and install it on the machines I set up for others.
