    May i know how to get or restore default httpd.conf on apache? Im doing some modification and failed to start the apache

    Did you not back it up before hand ?

    always backup, you can back up by doing

    cp /etc/ my.cnf my.cnf.orig

    atm i used my.cnf because im actually working on my sql right now but you get the idea, most people create a backup .bck but if its the original i backup and use file.orig

    so you will always have it and you can always nano /etc/my.cnf.orig

    to see the original. Are you using cpanel ?

    install using rpm ? Remove that rpm and reinstall it.
    If its cpanel then /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

    find / -type f -name http*.conf*
    Or just reinstall apache?
