well its purely logical, they are asking for IPs & other information from host to come at you man.

Why would they want your details? Obviously to find you. Sue you for all you got in court.

Before interpol is asking your hoster for info, the local police will have done that. Interpol does not stand for Internetpolice it is a organisation of 84 countries that have joined together their police forces.

interpol also makes no arrests, it will acccomodate local police with info, on hiding places and make arrest possible, in certain BIG cases like the megaupload case Interpol probably will have a part, but for a warez site it will not consider action. Local police will handle it.

So back to your question, what will interpol do with info from your hoster, which is obligated to work together with them they will try to get to you or your friend.

I think a small warez site will not have any fear from interpol, as copyrightholders will try to get it deleted thru court in the first place, in every country in the world, (except afew like countries in Russia, maybe africa or eastern Europe) have such laws. That brings me to a other point i keep repeating there is no such thing like DMCA free hosting.

Specially not in the countries that are named a lot on this forum, (Holland, Germany and France) yes they allow all these warez, porn and all these other copyright infringing sites because there is a law that makes them equal to a mail delivering company. They thereself cannot be held responseble but the owner of the site is.

When one of these companies get a DMCA warning, or a cease & desist they will forward it to their client and demand a action within a certain amount of time (mostly24 hrs). If you do not comply then they will nullroute a whole server in the end.
