That is a general mini encode tutorial... you won't get results as he doesn't use any filters from MeGUI or avisynth.

Simple use Avisynth ColorYUV(levels="TV->PC") and ColorYUV(levels="PC->TV"). That would do your work to increase the brightness & contrast.

find a video convert tools which has add contrast feature and encode video with 2 pass settings. if you have 5~6min clip of the source file send it to me.

That is the most stupid thing I've heard. If you encode the movie 2-3 times repeatedly it will just get crappier and crappier in terms of quality.

What's easier is just preprocessing the source file with a contrast/brightness filter and then encode normally.

All you guys, I said some scene release guy told.

How will I come to know about such things? I am neither from any release group or ever did encoding

I just said what I read, maybe thats not true.

Yes but even if you don't encode stuff you would have to reason that whenever you take something from one source and put it in another you lose quality.

I was harsh because... this guy is asking how and you answered with that response... Usually its assumed people know something about the subject before responding. But adding a response from someone else when you admit you have no experience in encoding?
