How to create outbound link like adf.ly for my own site?

Hi

My friends and I provide a DDL service for some files. We used to use Adf.ly but it seems they shave 2/3's of the downloads from the #'s so we were wondering if we could make our own "exit page"?

We were also wondering which ads / CPM companies were best for this.

Essentially it would be:

Download Link -> Page with ads shown for 5-10 secs -> forward to our DDL link from our server.

If your site is WP-based, you can find a bunch of plugins for that. If not, you can try separate url shortener scripts, that you can set up on your server, like http://yourls.org/

If you know PHP, it'll be a 5 minute job for you. There are quite of them online, I think one was in softaculous at cpanel.
