What is the diff b/w Offshore and Onshore Servers?

Onshore is the servers located on ur side of country/region.

Offshore is out of you country or region.

But now these to means, onshore = no warez, easy to invade by the feds
Offshore = warez allowed, just a little harder for feds to invade, but not by much.

ibby, sorry to say all the information you've posted is incorrect just cause you use offshore hosting doesn't mean USA can't have the local authorities go raid that server location for an example take a look at Megaupload, samething goes for the Onshore location no matter what location you pick it can still be raided by local authorities whether onshore or offshore.

There no noticeable points to be honest they're all the same whether onshore / offshore.

The only difference is location really.
In today's world just about any country will force you to comply with DMCA's or complaints on copyrighted content.
