    Default utorrent overloading !

    hey , i am using a RDP

now i was getting like 54mb/s in 3 torrents in utorrent . but then in low utorrent i got error like Disk overloaded = 100% and speeds got 0 then again after some time speeds were high and again disk overloaded

    wtf is this ?

i tried to make momory for utorrent cache as 1800mb as suggested in utorrent forums , but then utorrent started to take 1.8gb of ram which basically is server abuse , then i closed utorrent and m using deluge now. but now in deluge i am not getting any good speeds i get max. 18mbps downloading. and "0" uploading wtf.

can someone suggest me good suggestions ? my utorrent is 3.xx something.

Sounds to me like your HDD cant read/write fast enough, ive seen that plenty of times at the speeds you talk about, and if thier is more than 1 of you on the server i suspect your both hammering it at the same time

It means that utorrent is downloading faster than it can be written to the hard drive!! Causing a disk overload! Not 100% sure how to fix it as the last time it happened to me my hard drive blew up lol so never needed to fix the issue just replace with new hard drive. Im sure someone on here knows im sure it has been asked before... just cant find the post!

its not a result of bad server....its a result of bad settings..you`ll get that error even on ssd`s if the settings are bad.
this is my setting btw i can max out my up/down pretty much ALL the time

i run about 100 torrent at the same time with around 50-60 active seeding..and 15-20 dl`ing at the same time.

    i have 2gb ram....

This is true, however I suspect this points to a multi user issue where both if not more are hammering the HDD and its not writing fast enough.

The OP has said it happens on other torrent clients aswell

Ive seen this loads of times when I used to rent out seedboxes

Its a simple user overload issue !

    Try this:

Cap your DL speed to 1-2mb per second and see if it goes above the 30% i bet it does and if im correct in that then its a HDD write issue

sceneguy , i tried 1800 settings too dude , but then utorrent takes like 1.8gb of ram lool ( abusing server ) and i dont want admin to kick me out of server.

on the other hand , deluge only taking like 78mb lol
