Paypal fees
Hi guys.
Did anybody came across the fact paypal charges fees differently from person to person?
Example, sending 550$ through mass payment cost me 11$ fee, while my friend from another country paid normal 1-2$ fee (for mass payment).
I tried contacting paypal, they gave me unclear answer for this.

paypal just has outragous fees...
this year i spent about $850 on fees, over $9000, and that's with me forcing my customers to convert to canadian dollars first... it would probably be triple that amount if i had to convert it from usd to cad lol.
unfortunately, theres nothing you can do about it

Paypal has outrageous fees but I found that I was losing more money letting my bank do the currency conversion for international transactions. So now I leave it to Paypal to do the conversions and am actually saving 1% for every transaction.
Hey no matter who you use as a payment gateway, you will have to pay the fees. You will never get direct conversion rates.
