How do view site before you change name servers

I use cPanel and I want to view my forum and make sure it if functioning correctly before I put it how, what is the easiest possible way to do this?

You can edit your hosts file:

In windows /Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts
Linux: /etc/hosts

Add the following line

IP.HERE.OF.YOUR.SERVER domainname.com

[Webmin]

It says

[ Error writing /etc/hosts: Permission denied ]
