    Default Multiple servers.

I want to know about single site and multiple network.

That is, can I host 1 site on 2 servers? If one goes down, site continues to work from other one.

Say A is the site with X and Y IP [servers]. Then I add both NS.

    Will this work or?

    Thank you!

    Maybe this will work:

Point your NS1 to first server.
    Point NS2 to second server.
    And so on..

if ns1 is down, it tries to reach ns2. Not sure though,

    Or just use a CDN.

    I should point NS1 to server 1 + server 2 right?

    Then NS2 server 1 + server 2 right.

Also how does CDN work when server is down..?

    Thanks!

With that nameserver concept it wouldn't work.
You would need something like a VPS and the 2 dedis.
The domain would point to the VPS first which would then direct to the main server if it's up, otherwise if a response isn't received from the main server, it instead directs to the second server.

I got 1 VPS and 1 Dedicated server.. The thing is both are good but one goes down sometimes.. I don't want any downtime as it's affecting my work.

So any body know how to do this?

    Also how does CDN works?
Does CND works even when server is down?

Sanin, I forgot about DB.. damm..

    Thanks!

I alas dont know full tutorial how to do it, but there is rsync command to backup some user account (hosting account) from one server to another, it can come handy. http://www.shanghaiwebhosting.com/we...osting-servers

^^It's not actually about load issue.. It's just downtime issue.. Been using KnownSRV but 3 days down time is really not appreciated.. It has affected big time.. So I decided to move to another host for backup.. So if knownSRV goes down, site should run from another server..

    Possible?

    Thanks!
