Topics in the front page of phpbb

Well i would like to show threads in my first page of phpbb instead of forums.
Can it be done?
Also so i can start threads...

I know i can remove front page, but i need the front page.

For better understanding here is a image how i would like it.
I know its possible i have been spending 10 hours to finding the right code.
I remeber thet i did find the code but i put it in the wrong place and then wanted to fix it. It was then i forgett where it was.
The '' Your first forum '' msut be there cause other wise TOP 10 MOD wont work...

Right, i think you mean the title of threads on the index correct?

Oh that, it is possible VERY easy, just me personally don't have the code anymore.....

What i did was, just find a theme which has it and copy the code and apply it to the theme you are using.
