Need Help :Transfering site content to a better Alexa ranking Domain

Please help me:

I have a low ranking site with huge content say some 6000+ articles hosted in hostgator.

If I buy an existing Domain from one of my friend, whose Alexa domain rank is below 10K, and if I transfer my content to that purchased domain.. will my site rank improves?

Example :

I have www.123.com with alexa ranking 400000

My Friend site : www.abc.com with alexa rank 10K.

If, I buy the abc.com from my friend, and add that domain to the content of 123.com, will my site rank change to 10K?

Plz any one assist me on this..coz I am paying huge amount for ordering that 10 k rank domain.

no. You have to contact Alexa and they can transfer the alexa rank over to another domain if they both point to same site. They will both then share the same alexa rank you pick, either the 10k or 40000

just to let you know Alexa rank doesnt = more traffic

I see in many sites who publish their ads, they have good traffic if their alexa ranking is good.

Actually,

My site (blog) I have 510+ pages.
I am currently getting daily 3500-4000 visitors with 30K + views for my site.
I am adding 20-25 articles daily .. and my sitemap is updated hourly..

My rank still remains low (not improving much) when compared to my competitors their sites hardly have only 70+ pages and they just post 10 posts daily..

What should I need to do for improving my site rank and traffic?

plz help..
