Comparing your ping maybe 1 user on at a time to one with millions and millions on at a time is of no use. Of course you'll be fast in the beginning. I'd be more surprised if it wasn't. Wait till it has millions hotlinking at a time.

Since you cannot legally police content stored on your servers (this can have you sued if you get a real dmca complaint since you lose safe harbor) those users uploading illegal shit can even sue for removing their content lol Generally speaking.
