- I got rid of the data compiling inside the programm,now you can edit a php file and put your DB info in it.That way noone can see your database details.
This small script actually returns the last post value,so the program knows there is a new posts.

Hello!
Do you wan't to be like the "big" internet guys,who have all the extras on their websites and who are keeping their members always up to date?
I have made this app just for you!
After the notyFx is installed(or just executed) on a member's computer,he/she will start receiving notifications ragarding your site posts.
What I mean?
Everytime when a new posts is made on your site,the member will get a small cloud notification on his/her desktop(it can be changed to a popup window as well).
notyFx is running on the sidebar and that's why it have so low system requirements(just 18MB of ram).
All the messages can be modified,including the sidebar icon! - It can be changed to your site's icon.

- instead of a cloud message,it can be able to show a popup box(It can be made within 30 minutes,but it will have an additional cost)

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3MB free diskspace
- 18MB free ram
- an internet connection
- windows OS(tm) (not yet tested on mac OS(tm))
- java(tm) - if java has not been installed,the installer will take him to the download page.

REQUIERED STEPS TO GET THE APP:

1)Just upload the small php file on your server and insert your DB info in it (100% safe and noone can see it)
2)If you're running wordpress(tm) Everything is ready!
3)If you're running another script,I will need to have a screenshot of the DB columns,or just a quick guide,where the post ID is saved.

IMPORTANT!
The Database info is saved in a php file,so only YOU can see the data and edit it.

make alternative of database something like rss or atom xml etc..

ppl will never find themselfs comfortable sharing db password just for this.

Update 1.1 released!

Now I don't need to compile your database info into the programm.It can get the data from a small php file on your server.
That way your DB info is 100% safe and only you can see and edit it!
