Google Android Market is gone - Play arrives!

Google has rebranded it's Android Market, Google Music and Google Bookstore into a Super Media hub. Like the iTunes store you can get music, ebooks, movies etc not just apps but everyone always associated the Android Market as just a shop for apps. Google has combined cloud storage, syncing and the buying of apps, games, ebooks and movies into this new super store/media center which will link all your Android phones and tablets as well as Chrome OS.

It seams like a good idea as it's more marketable from a future Google TV and mobile point of view. I know other similar things are starting to exist like iCloud & iTunes (which could be combined more too) Amazon, SkyDrive which is the new one from Microsoft.

This is getting great for consumers like us as these tech companies compete against each other.

Mine already updated to this. So I'm assuming most peoples are as well or coming out soon.
