Edit site online?

So i have a website just for testing purpouse.

I would like to be able to edit it online. Without downloading .html or .php files.
I would onlye like to edit the first page.

What should i search for, you maybe could help me?
Ofcourse only specific IP or you must log in to edit only!

Well if i dont have FTP exess? I have it but i would like to have this function on another site where im admin but not the owner.

you can tell the site owner to upload it for you via FTP and create a login for you?

Ok but for example can the pwner of the site make me only edit 1 file?
Like a axess to FTP just for 1 file?
