Want to start a site. Need info regarding the Server specs

Hi everyone I am planning to start a image host similar to lulzimg, imagetwist or imagehyper. So in order to run a similar site which is capable of handling huge traffic without any delays in loading the image or site itself. The site will use x filesharing script

What server would be good. If this needs a dedicated server what server specs would I need to run

Get a high end VPS in 40-50 $ with more space and you are good to start...

I'd suggest you to go with either Kimsufi 2G or Kimsufi 16G.
As GlanPol-net said, Kimsufi 2G costs under $30 and it would be the best choice for you.

but i guess with in a couple of weeks you need Dedicated server


if you want ur image host to be a HIT
- FireFox, Chrome Addons a Must
- Desktop uploader (optional) always good if u have! will be best for RDP fellas
- site must be light and ppl should get links with min effort

i used to own imgflex.com , when i was uploading in WBB and i remember 1 day when fast five Bluray came out i used about 2TB in 1 day (in the imagehosting dedi) .
so , it really depends on you if its for personal use or what .

You will need to keep upgrading as it grows.
A OVH server will be gud start...

Yeah OVH will be good. Or start from Kimsufi servers. There are reseller here on KWWH.
