A backup is a legit personal file. It's not like it's an illegal upload like a movie, game or music album so who go for a warez related file host? Most Mediafire and Rapidshare users are warez users so the same thing that happened Megaupload could easily happen them. Why not use a legit professional file host who's users are not kids uploading illegal content? Have a look at the likes of box.com or dropbox.com which are free, far easier to use with mobile apps, easy to use sync programs and api's. These file hosts have far less chance of being closed like Megaupload as they are aimed at professionals and not warez related uploads.

The last thing you want to happen is a file host to close or suspend your account and you lose your backup.

i'm still with Wupload for backups.
@Mr.Happy with new filehosts there would be always a chance that they get away if they are not making much sales or much profits from the site apart from i agree with your reply.
