    I wonder.
    It was launched.

Very true, But he was aiming to give back to them more than anything the pirates cost them in the first place.

I think the real story is that the music groups got scared and decided to gang up on him using his past as a golden ticket to win.

Kim was a shady individual with a history of very unethical business practices. He'd throw anybody under the bus to get a "one up".

Purchasing a failing companies shares, announcing a 50m EUR investment, only to get the shares to jump so he could sell without investing anything, is a perfect example.

Megaupload earned millions of dollars in profit per month, and as such, he produced whatever he could (such as this "Megabox") to try and claim he wasn't profiting from warez; paying Swizz Beatz to be CEO wasn't a move to "be generous", it was to keep his bankroll flowing.

It was his greed and flaunting of wealth that led to his downfall.

When you pull out your dick and start waving it around expect to get cold.

You're doing a little off topic here, everyone knows that he made a lot of money thx to warez but this whole situation with closing MU was a bit suspicious, - you remember Rapidshare case ? Back in time they were no.1 ; )

to try and claim he wasn't profiting from warez ...

    It sounds like a demagogue.

I believe this is true indeed :-\

I'm interested in Megakey, how did it actually generate 99cent per free download from adware... adware requires 1000 _unique_ impressions for 99 cents or 3-6 clicks... and not many people click that often...
