Why i am getting this error while creating new thread?

Whenever someone try to create new thread an error occurs:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Can't create a new thread (errno 12); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug [1135]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

What may be problem . Why i am getting this error. What i should do to fix it?

but how VPS crash may possible coz i have around 384 MB of RAM in my VPS configuration and my all sites are receiving maximum 500 visitors(total) daily.

This is due to bad setup of vps servers,you can solve this problem by tweaking /etc/my.cnf
