    Let me guess. You are using Kloxo and MySQL 5.0. Am I right? If I am, that's the problem.

    Well, we need to know more information.

    How many sites are you running on the VPS ?
    What is your VPS configuration ?
    How many visitors do you get on your site (hosted on the VPS) daily ?
    What script are you using on your site ?
    What control panel are you running ?
    What OS is the VPS running ?

    Script = Wordpress (in your case)
    =====
    The RAM is 2GB and visitors are upto 170, then there shouldn't be any problem.

    You need to list us the plugins you're using. Maybe any of it might cause the problem (which I doubt it won't as your RAM is high).

    Do you have any PHP Cache modules installed ? If not, then install APC (http://2bits.com/articles/installing...-centos-5.html)

    I'll reply to this post tomorrow when I return from college.
