Getting frustrated with these guys.
I have bought a server but they dont even know that the customer needs a control pannel and an ftp account.
They said I need to tell them whether I want it or not.
And they charge 29.99$ for 15 min of work after installation and in that they only installed a control pannel (webmin) and ftp and not even configured that.
I asked them whether u could change the control pannel if i dont like and they agreed at that time. And now they say "If you want another panel you can change it yourself."

And now the msn man dont even reply.

if you want a reply open a support ticket, wildfire95 has nothing to do with support hes just sales.

Also yes 29.99$ for support because it is premium, these are unmanaged servers so you shouldn't need help, you should read before you get into things.

That's up to you to install FTP or not, just ssh and yum will do it for you. Seriously, people say this company is run by kids and its not, its you kids who are buying it and don't know wtf to do.

You are not actually telling the whole story...!

Our terms of service shows you very well what kind of service we provide. The link it is on the invoice you have paid.

The provided service is unmanaged and we only put on your vps the minimal you need to control it and install whatever you want.

We actually do install a control panel for you for free (it's an exception of what we do for free). But only if you request it. We won't configure nothing for you... unless you pay for it. At the start you didn't asked for a control panel, that's why we didn't installed anything (many costumers doesn't want a control panel, because they don't need one). With this, we provide flexibility to the end costumer! We don't force anyone to get a control panel. The webmin control panel was the one choosen by you.

You have paid 29,99$ to install ONLY ffmpeg, rar and unrar. This includes only 15m of work... not more. We also have installed the ftp service (that doesn't come with the webmin panel, using the rest of the time that you could still use). After this you have run out of time. If you want more 15m of our work, you can pay us more 29,99$.

The FTP service comes actually configured but without accounts on it. We have explained this to you but apparently you didn't understand.

About changing the control panel... I'm going to quote here what it was typed on the ticket when you asked:

"Dear Anuj,

The following control panels are available from us to be installed:

- cpanel (paid 15$ / month)
- plesk (1 domain license for free - if you need more needs to be paid)
- kloxo (free and have some known bugs)
- webmin (free)
- virtualmin (free)
- directadmin (paid 15$ / month)

All the paid ones are installed for free in any case (and possible without reinstalling the OS - depending on the situation). The free ones can be installed only with every installation and needs to asked within 48 hours (if you requested after 48 hours we won't do it for you for free unless you decide to reinstall the OS. If you want to change from a free panel to another one also free, it won't be done for free as well).

R: We can do it whenever you want for free as long as you decide to reinstall the OS. Don't forget however that we have already done some paid work on your current installation.

This was what we said. We change your control panel if you decide to reinstall the OS (for free). If you want to change the control panel after, already having a control panel installed, or, after 48 hours your OS was installed or reinstalled... we request to be paid to do it. Or, you can do it yourself if you don't want to pay us to do it for you.

An act of our good faith as you can read above, we have also opened an exception for you to reinstall again the rar, unrar and ffmpeg in case you decide to reinstall your VPS with a new control panel.

Of course we won't talk to you on MSN anymore. After the acusation you did... let me quote it: "I thought u wont scam me...in my language scam means the thing u did right now"

I have all the conversations logged, just in case. And since you are now posting here, we are now going to stop providing the service. We will continue to provide you the service when you decide to apologise.

- OpenVServers has had customer after customer come to us asking for hosting, often from WRZHost since they got alot of downtime and we have provided what you (and other hosting companies) could not.

"Run by Kids"
- Well, if we are run by kids then prehaps you need to step-up and beat the "kids" that many people think are better then your companie(s).

Please, dont try this pathetic approach again to stop customers coming to us. If you have a opinion you can email us, or just keep it to yourself

I have a VPS with them and can say that RFHM and Wildfire are doing a very good job!

Wildfire sells and RFHM will take care of the customers after that.

I think the main problem is that people who are interested in a VPS (and coming from a managed environment with Cpanel) don't understand that you'll have to do a lot yourself and it might take you a few days before you can actually use it.

Although I ran a dedicated server seven years ago, I am a newbie handling these tasks.

With minimal help of RFHM I was able to install the necessities like PHP, MySQL, DNS, FTP and Webmin myself (and configuring them) using Google as my sidekick.

And if necessary, RFHM will reboot your VPS for free (although I wish I could do that myself).

Note that Openvservers delivers a high quality service at very good prices. I compared but couldn't find a better deal.

Now where's that next month discount?

- Reinstall your OS;
- Change your Operative System in 2 minuts;
- Change the webpanel you are using in 2 minuts.


For now, I can't say anything else. But all this and much more features are going to launched very soon. We are actually at the moment doing the final tests.
