    its easy:
    Use same name for movie and subtitle file
    movie name.avi (example)
    movie name.srt (or .sub , .smi etc)

    If you want to mux subtitle in your mkv, you can try mkvmuxer

    but I need to mux subtitles at the time of encoding(video encoding)

    create a .srt file.
    if you use

    1. megui->look in the filters tab at the bottom while creating the avisynth script

    2.staxrip->add subtitle

    3.virtualdub->add a filter.

    same for avidemux as well.

    i had tried with megui...

    mkv muxer is the only way to add subs..

    but for that u need encode audio file & video file differently.......

    is there any other easy way to encode a video in mkv as well as with muxing sub titles?
