    I am just want to inform you that i with my friend starting new project called PHP Firewall.

    I still dont know if it will be license free or paid (if paid , will be something like 50-100 USD)

    is this thread a pre-order or something.

    also why would someone use php firewall when there is linux built-in iptables (kernel level) firewall. and there is a tool called csf to simplify the use of that iptables.

    A php firewall makes no sense. The attacks are generally meant to cripple the HTTP server, other services, and/or the connectivity.

    Most attacks cripple the connectivity, to the point that the traffic never even manages to hit the server, let alone the php interpreter. A php firewall would be useless in 90% of the attack cases.

    I know that, this php firewall cant stop big ddos, just small attacks.

    Correct.

    Anyway, nice that you are making a project but wouldn't really work. There are very advanced Linux based firewalls which you can't win from. Not in PHP. The main purpose of Linux firewall is to prevent the connection connecting to a PHP script. (In most cases.)

    However, you could convert this project into visitors logging system.

    I see that you are also thinking about ddos protection, well this won't be possible. All real ddos protection is network level based.
