1st thing use putty, 2nd learn the basic commands search with google for them 3rd begin experimenting

As vizoomer suggested.
Putty is what you need to connect to your VPS.
Rest of the guide is all over google. Just search for "How to" with your desired task.
For example:
1. How to install Apache on Linux. (Replace Linux with the name of your Operating system like Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu etc)
2. How to install mysql server on Linux.

etc etc etc.

Thats how I learned... Plus most of the tuts are available on youtube as well. However they might be old, but works for most of the tasks. Linux doesn't change that often lol.

ok guys.. i am a complete NOOB.. dont know where to start.

i have read mRAza Tutorial... i find it easy.. Now i wanna know.. how do i transfer my host to new host ?

i can take all the back-up ... but how to install on VPS

Simple , install some panel like Kloxo , Cpanel or Webmin and start restoring the site , if you need any help add me at IM .

First of all,

• Get SSHExplorer (its for newbies) [get it as warez/buy it if you like]
• Connect via SSHExplorer to your VPS.
• Install YUM (if its not installed)
• Install Kloxo (install)
• Read up detailed tutorials here.
