Im waiting for the untethered jailbreak too. Its allready done, pod2g said on twitter that he is going to do the A5 (iphone 4s ipad2 +) processor jailbreaks before releasing the untethered for a4 and below devices.

Semi untethered f*cked my iphone once and you can't even use installous so I don't use that anymore.
I'm not gonna update my iphone to 5.0.1 either since a lot of users reported that gevey has more problems on this version.
