Split avi

Ηi mates.

I need a program to cut avi files with accuracy.
I used virtual dub but it doesnt cut the start of the part i want to cut with accuracy.it also includes about 1 sec before the point i want to start.

Any suggestions?

if you want precision use advanced NLE like adobe premire pro or sony vegas
but the result will be reencoded
