Kind of hit a small issue today and thinking of closing down the site and i want to divert the PR & traffic if possible to a new wordpress site which i started a few weeks ago .

This is what i did , create a .htaccess file with these lines :
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.newdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
It seems to be working fine , However having a problem with other links
like : http://www.forum1.com/tv/ndkndasdjsadsadas.html goes to http://www.wordpress1.com/tv/ndkndasdjsadsadas.html
which returns a 404 error , is it possible to redirect all pages to the main url : www.wordpress1.com

19th Dec 2011, 01:07 PM #10It begins...
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://mynewdomain.com [L]
^ That code is a wildcard 302 redirect to the root of the new domain. Any and all requests to your old domain/forum/directory will be redirected to the new domain.
