coder to reverse engineer an app

I have windows app on my rdp and i need some changes done to it. However the coder of the app is no where to be seen in months

would any 1 by willing to reverse engineer the app for me in order for the changes to be made?

Are you asking to reverse the code then rewrite it and then make the changes...

How much are you willing to pay???

Prepatching certain things could be easier as you just need to find some values... but recodeing it would take a wile since you have to find and relink all of the system links to it

well i dont want the app re-written, as the app is running ok, however i need some slight changes to it. and since i do not have the source code as he disappeared before he sent it,

So really i guess i dont need it reverse engineered lol. it was the only word i could find to describe what i needed lol.

I would be willing to pay, so long as its not hundreds of $$$

you can't change some values if you don't have the source code of the app.

If you have only the executable then they have to decompile and rewrite the app

Only certain values can be changed through reverse engineering. What exactly you wanted to do?

Mainly alter a upload file host

If it helps i have a ddl file called updown.ddl. I assume this would hold the upload n download settings possibly??
