    Default Name.com Whois Protection?

    Hi,

    I registered a domain today and i noticed that i cannot add whois protection.It says NO and in the info it says unsupported.

    The domain is .in

    Any ideas?

    Some ccTLD's like in don't support protection of your details. However, there's a nice ccTLD, to that doesn't maintain a public record of their customers, just be sure to respect their terms of service, and you should be ok.

    Hi,

    I'm owner 2 domains .in, and I sure we can't use protection feature for these domains, even if I got free slots for that.

    We guess that you can just enter some random date - get some people info from google which looks real and use that?
