how to get rid of this

i installed a program
i ran a test on virustotal but until that i already executed the software which did opened up
but virustotal showed detection rate as 1/43


now if this was really a trojan horse then how can i get rid of it?
i dont want to re install windows and i definitely cant erase my 1.5TB HDD

Well, a quick Google says the following AV programs detect it:

McAfee-GW-Edition: Artemis!947DA1E15F53

I'm guessing using one of them and updating to the latest signature database would remove it.

the program must be packed with something. or might be false positive.
