Hi Guy's this is for VBulletin 4.x.x Forums
1. Adding a cool shadow effect to your user groups
just add his in your admincp and usergroups
Code:<span style="color: red; text-shadow: red 1px 1px 10px;"><strong>{username}</strong></span>
Go to your admincp.
From there go to: Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Your Style -> Edit Templates -> Find: Forum Home Templates -> FORUMHOME ->
Find:
Code:<!-- what's going on box -->
Code:recorddate}, {vb:raw recordtime}}</p>
Code:<left><b><span style="color: red; 1px 1px 10px;"><strong>? Administrator</b></strong> <b><span style="color: green; 1px 1px 10px;"><strong>? Moderators</b></strong> <b><span style="color: purple; 1px 1px 10px;"><strong>? Super Moderators</b></strong> <b><span style="color: blue; 1px 1px 10px;"><strong>? Registered Users</b></strong></span></left> <br /> <br />
To change the colour just change this:
Code:: green;">
Go to Admin CP Find Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Your Style -> StyleVars
Then find: body_background and change the color or the background image.
Normally the background is white(On your forum) so if you want to set your background to your own add this:
Code:url(your URL)
Code:url(your URL) fixed center
Removing "Active Members" from the "What's going on" box is fairly simple, and it doesn't require any plugins or mods.
To simply remove it:
1) Go to your admin panel
2) vBulletin Options > Options
3) Scroll down and look for "Forum Home Page Options"
4) Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you should see "Active Member Options" to the left
5) Uncheck the box "Show total members of active members"
6) Click save and that's it! Now you shouldn't be able to see "Active Members" on your "What's Going On?" box!Jamie Holle Reviewed by Jamie Holle on .
