SEO for IPB

I have already installed IPBSeo on my ipb board, but still my google ranking is very bad.

Any tipps to optimize it on ipb?

Have you done off site SEO? Just installing a SEO plugin on a site is not all.

backlinks, social sharing and reguler update will have good effect on ur SEO.

Run cronjob .

Cron only assures exact timing to update sitemap.

Be sure to add the meta tags (keywords and descriptions) for each of the segments like forums & topics & etc.. Add pings for the top 5 services at least. But do not go overboard as it will slow down loading times..

Use pathinfo and .htaccess as the app describes in their setup page.

Also remember if your site is not unique it will take a while and good posting to get popular.
