you could always shift your domain name to namecheap or name.com

shifting domain is not a good idea since u loose rank etc
thats why buying a domain at normal price wont have to keep shifting

Agree but lets say you have just bought a domain name from godaddy. (many of us has bought it bcoz they were offering for 1$) and then shift it . I guess that wont harm anything specially when you wont have any rank atall

BTW it will take 60 days for the transfer
