Need help in ubuntu DNS

Hey:

I have a vps running on Ubuntu with out control panel.
I add my site to the available site and I activate it, also i point my ns1 & ns2 in my registrar to vps ips.
When i try to access my site through url mydomain.com it was not accessible. But m site was accessible if i browse my vps ip.
Now it was 48 hours passed and my site url still not working.
I need a detailed guide about how to config nameserver on Ubuntu.
