    Question server installation error

    Please help. I got this error when creating a server on my server management tab
    File Server tests:
    api.cgi: OK
    temp dir exist: OK
    temp dir mkdir: OK
    temp dir rmdir: OK
    upload dir exist: OK
    upload dir mkdir: OK
    upload dir rmdir: OK
    htdocs dir exist: OK
    htdocs dir mkdir: OK
    htdocs dir symlink: ERROR
    htdocs dir symlink del: ERROR
    htdocs dir rmdir: OK
    config read: OK
    config write: OK
    fs.cgi: OK
    upload.cgi: OK
    upload_status.cgi: OK
    htdocs URL accessibility: OK

    How do I fix
    htdocs dir symlink: ERROR
    htdocs dir symlink del: ERROR ? Please help.Thanks

    You have problem with "files" folder. Path or permissions are wrong.

    The "files" folder is in my public_html directory and permission is 755. Please help

    Folders should have 777 Permission afaik

    It should be writeable for apache process. To make it easier set to 666 or even 777.

    Changed the permission to 777 and the error still remain. I change to 666 and got this additional error

    not sure why you have "htdocs" in the URL.
    You should put URL: http://edited out by request.com/files and not http://edited out by request.com/htdocs/files/
