Move sidebar in WP theme please

Hi, I need to move one sidebar from right to left in my wordpress. I have change style.css (float:left) but it doesnt work. Can any1 help me, please?

Change this into your sidebar.php, not in css.
This sidebar have to be called before the content

Change this into your Main Index Template (index.php)

To create sub-categories, go to your categories page: xxxx://yoursite.KWWH/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

Just select your "Parent" category and it's done
And to see them in the sidebar, check "show hierarchy" to your widget categories.
