freakyworld.netHigh CPU load ??
Was wondering what might be the possibility of high CPU load in IPB ?
- Previously i had " Content Cache" set to 7 days, now increased to 90 days.
- I have also disabled chatbox for guests.
- IP.SEO is un-installed.
- Automatically killing of search queries from 30 seconds set to 20 seconds.
Still their is high CPU loads, so was wondering if their are some reasons that leads to high CPU loads ??
Also if the board is offline still it is taking high CPU loads, the hosting had to shut the website down to decrease the load.vorazeal Reviewed by vorazeal on . High CPU load ?? snowfortress.netNormaly IPB should have no problem at all dealing with that amount of traffic. Sounds odd that the host even had to shutdown the site to lower the CPU load.
Does everything else seams ok in the acp? Logs/Diagnostics etc. If ok I suggest you contact the host as I doubt that anyone here can help you without directly connect to your acp or the hosts possible controlpanel but I can ofcourse be wrong. The host should be able to trace and also inform you where the issue is. If not try to contact the IPS support.

FlowForums.comWhat kind of hosting are you running on? If shared hosting then it might be the server in general.

Tell your host to run top -c when the host is at high cpu usage and it will tell him the exact script running using that high cpu.

Try putting your website on performance mode in ACP, and check CPU load.
