How much Indian Banks charge for USD Cheques received from Adbrite?

I have received adbrite cheque in USD. I want to deposit in Axis Bank. alternatively how much they charge for foreign cheques?

I am not able to know the details from any bank website. The cheque is of 10$ (as it was my first earnings i thought to get 10$ check and party )

go to the website of the bank, get their number and call them

they give 2 INR less per dollar. Stating

"Foreign Exchange Fee" "international Check" "Bank Policy on Internation CHQ"

Encipher .. thats only for forex but for cheques different banks have different charges

see ? there it goes ... my bank says the charges depends upon the amount the CHQ is of and when i ask the percentage all it says is yes there is a percentage
