I use to use torrents but could not get the speed out of them like I do with file hosts not by a long shot.

C'mon, most of you have double accounts, ref yourself, and you are nagging about this? Really?
Yeah, you are uploading to FS and FJ, and you earn from both filehosts, how can they do this to you?!?!?! They need to be severly punished!!!!

I don't think it's nagging, it's just revealing stuff, pure curiosity.
Some (most) of us already knew this from the very start, some of us aren't that stupid, and know how things work, there was no need for this topic, however, I find it interesting to read, that they never did anything to hide that...

Rapidshare and Megaupload are there for the same reasons as Fileserve, Filesonic and the other 'cashwhore' (LOL) filehosts.

The only difference between the first and the latter group is, that the latter group returns some of the money to the people supporting them. Which isn't a bad thing as it enables people (young and old) in the third world to make some money on the side.

Furthermore, those preferring torrents (or newsgroups) to filehosts have nothing to do with the issue of uploading.

Those 'cashwhore' opponents remind me of the hippies of the 70s. We know all what came from their visions.

Thats not entirely true! I share all over the place for no reward other than status! Im f@%ked now though... Dont know which host to lay my uploads on!
