Question to providers, ie hosts, for dedicated servers, even resellers
I'm curious and have been for a while, I work for a large company but I'm curious what payment method do your customers normally pay for, new or current, do they pay monthly, quarterly, or longer then that?
I'm talking dedicated servers, even if you resell them I'm curious, not shared, vps, etc..
I tend to offer quarterly payments with a discount of 25% which normally drops the pricing to a huge amount which makes the customer jump on board quicker, plus I offer 30 day money back incase they don't like it unlike any provider I have seen.
I have had only a few customers get annual hosting servers which ran in the $10k range but it was for special hardware, or something we normally don't build so they had to pay up front that much in order for us to drop the money to get the hardware.
So what do yours mostly get?
Also this is our new special offering, what do you think of the specs and price point of this offer, We normally offer it for $200-299 a month
Quad Xeon 3440
2.53ghz x 4
8 cpus
500gb sata II hard drive
4gbit dd3 ram
1gbit port
15TB bandwidth
100% network sla
Tier 1 bandwidth/network
Includes kvm over ip, and free cross connects
Phoenix Arizona, PhoenixNap data center
Setup fee: $0
$149 a month, or $175 a month with cpanel/whm license
Prepaid quarterly at $400 every 3 months, or $450 including cpanel/whm license.
I know it's hard for anyone to touch our cpanel pricing, I normally offer it for $25-30 outside of the price of the server when it's normally $35-38 a month
What do you guys think of that? I've also got one more server specs I would like to get an idea on which I will post later on, We purchased these servers in bulk so that's why we can sell them pretty cheap, we have about 3 dozen of these servers, and we can normally do setup in 10 hours, but as soon as 2 hours.nichole Reviewed by nichole on . xsl.tel xsltel.comHello,
most of my re-sold dedicated servers are monthly based I don't provide upfront though, to avoid disputes incase something wrong would happen with network/etc...
however your current server offer is good enough, mind telling us which DC is this, Location, etc...
Highest Regards
