Sending Emails

Hey guys...i have some emails in a text file that i want to mail (not spam) about a website..whats the best way to do that? use a normal @gmail account or use @domain.com account through google apps? or any other way so the email wont go in the spam folder

Depends on how many you are sending at once. Gmail, yahoo and others consider anything over 200 spam and could ban your email and webite if doen through there. Your site could also get placed as a spam site.

You can send a mail to the providers like yahoo and gmail telling them that the people are part of your forum and given permission. After they reply then you can mass email with no worries.

But if no permission I would use a new gmail or yahoo account to send the mails from. And try to limit the amount sent.
