    If you want to target a specific category, then you have to make sure that its highly content rich, highly updated and highly optimized for search engines. Also you should try to make your site one of those that releases stuff ahead of others.Its easier to make an all warez site than to target a specific category.
    So if you are confident you can provide all latest stuff quickly, then go for a specific category site, otherwise go for the combined one.
