servsilla.comScreen Resolution
My Monitor can support up to 1280x1024, but when I put that as the screen resolution, I just get a black screen and need to wait until It reverts back. This is in Windows 7 Home Premium. But when I do this on Windows XP on the same computer, it changes to the resolution no problems. Why? Anyway to fix this or bypass it in Windows 7 HP?

nooky.usProbably not. You need Windows 7 drivers and for a 10 year old card likely not available. Furthermore the video card memory requirements for Windows 7 are higher than that for XP.
Most modern videocards have a 'compatible with Windows 7' certification.
