    Default How to know which host a site is using?

    How to know which a host a site is using......some sites can be known by seeing the nameservers....but some sites change their nameservers...so is there any way to know the host that a site is using....and if no then how to companies send DCMA to hosts

    simply open run from start menu type ping XXXX.com u will see ip in return of website

    Ping the ip then use ip-lookup.net to recognize the source (or hosting) however this doesn't always work^

    just goto domaintools.com and there insert the domain and goto the ip address section and there click on ip there u can find the host name

    You could try this:

    http://dedicatedornot.com/

    Just enter the IP/website address and it would reverse look up and you could see which sites are hosted as well as the host name.

    none of them shows which host a person is using

    it only shows the datacenter but its worth a bookmark
